One Nation One Election is a big initiative by the government, under the chairmanship of former President Ram Nath Kovind, the official meeting of the government will take place today (September 23, 2023).

Prashant Kishor said that if done with correct intentions, one nation one election would be beneficial to the nation in long run.

Notably, in 2018, the Law Commission had issued a report. In this report, simultaneous elections were advocated in the country, saying that “one election will be beneficial for the administrative, economic and social development of the country.”
