Gujarat faces special hate from anti-India forces ever since a man from there rose to the power to highest chair in the country. Every incident in Gujarat is linked to Hindutva intolerance and being amplified at the highest order to defame country.
On 18 January 2023, a notorious twitter handle Hindutva Watch known for spreading biased and misleading news tweeted a video with the caption “Local authorities in the BJP-ruled Gujarat demolished a Madrasa claiming that it was built over state land. Madrassa principal claimed that the building had existed since 1947 and was bulldozed on January 16 without any notice.”

Another anti-India Twitter handle Ashok Swain tweeted a picture accusing BJP state Govt. for bulldozing the properties of minorities. This tweet has garnered more than 5k retweets and 8500+ likes.

What’s the truth behind these viral claims? Are minority homes being targeted?

According to Aaj tak report, Madrasa was demolished by the Muslim Community after receiving the notice from the administration.

According to SP Bhuj Saurabh Singh, the administration has cleared 6,020 square meters of land by removing 46 small and big illegal constructions.
In fact, in view of increasing tourism & security in this border area of Kutch the National Highway Authority is now upgrading the double lane highway from Khavda to India Bridge to a four lane highway.

So, its apparent that illegal properties are demolished by illegal occupiers itself. However illegality has no religion. 2 Months ago, 300 Hindu houses were demolished for being ‘unauthorized constructions‘ but this news did not make any outrage.

From illegal settlements of Rohingya refugees to the illegal construction of Mosques and Madrassas, Anti-India forces tries their best to stop the development project and destabilize the nation through misinformation and fake propaganda.
