What If I told you that Youtuber Ravish Kumar is nowadays the favourite journalist of the US deep state? Recently, an organisation named Reporters Without Borders or RSF awarded Youtuber Ravish Kumar its Press Freedom Award.
The award has been termed ‘The Independence Prize’.
RSF writes, “Ravish Kumar personifies the Indian media’s resistance to political pressure and is a true hero of journalism in the country. With his sharp, hard-hitting stories and desire to expose the truth, he has shed light on crucial issues and given a voice to the voiceless, significantly influencing public opinion and politics”.
Next, RSF blatantly lies that Ravish was brutally ousted from NDTV after Adani took over the channel.
Just do a simple google search — and you will see that Ravish Kumar actually resigned from NDTV and not ousted as RSF tries to suggest. In fact, Ravish weaponised his resignation from NDTV by insinuating the takeover was hostile.
Except, it was just conversion of convertible debentures into equity held by Adani. All they had done was exercise their right as convertible debenture holder, something NDTV’s promoters Prannoy Roy always knew was a possibility.
Anyway, coming back to reporters without borders – or RSF – Who are they?
Who is Reporters Without Borders?
The Reporters Without Borders, is a self-described global protector of press rights.
We in the Pamphlet have written a lot about them. Every year they publish a ‘Press Freedom Index’ — this year they ranked India 159 out of the 180 nations.
Aren’t you shocked? Just ask yourself, does India deserve to be in 159th position in regard to Press Freedom? Even our External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had the same reaction.
Yes, Afghanistan was ranked better than India in Press Freedom! This is enough to tell you about the quality of their rankings and methodology.

Who funds Reporters Without Borders?
RSF has been funded by the likes of Open Society Foundations, National Endowment for Democracy, Ford Foundation and Luminate group.
No surprises here considering the usual regime changers are at the helm of operations.
Luminate group is a front organisation for the Omidyar group which has also doled out funds to Left and liberal media in India like Newslaundry and Scroll.in.
Next we have National Endowment for Democracy and Ford Foundation — these both have links to CIA, the intelligence agency of America. Interestingly, even earlier, Ravish Kumar has been linked to Ford Foundation.
In 2022, the Pamphlet had revealed that a documentary being made on Ravish Kumar was actually funded by Ford Foundation.
Let me tell you a quick fact about Ford Foundation: Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia’s ngo Kabir has earlier received funding from Ford Foundation.
And there’s another interesting connection between Kejriwal and Raja Ravish — both have won Magsaysay award!
Even Magsaysay Award was established by two CIA-linked organisations. Let me tell you how.
How Magsaysay Award is linked to CIA?
The award is named after Ramon Magsaysay, who was the president of the Philippines from 1953 to his death in 1957. Magsaysay was described as “America’s boy” by the CIA and was groomed by the CIA during the Cold War to prevent the Philippines from falling into the Soviet Orbit.
After President Magsaysay died in a plane crash in 1957, the Ramon Magsaysay Award was established in his memory, notably by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, which played a crucial role in the CIA’s cultural cold war. In 2000, the Ramon Magsaysay Emergent Leadership Award was established by the Ford Foundation.
